Kelley is the new Director of CPPSI as of September 1st, 2023. She received her PhD from UC Riverside studying effector biology of the pathogen associated with citrus greening disease. She then spent three years as a postdoc joint between the University of Arkansas and the USDA-ARS in Salinas, CA working on spinach downy mildew.
