Bio

Nicolas is a plant pathologist who received a PhD from Toulouse University, FR. He has a diverse background experience with various pathosystems in academic (INRA) and private research laboratories (Vilmorin & Cie) and at the French national organization for plant protection (Anses), aiming at developing pathogen detection methods, and describing pathogen virulence factors and plant immunity mechanisms. In 2018, Nicolas joined the Seed Testing Station (SNES) at GEVES where he is currently involved in the characterization and enhancement of the laboratory's reference material collections (through the MATREF network). He also oversees implementing the Harmorescoll project to develop internationally a harmonized reference collection system whose material has been validated.
